Seriously, the best way that I can describe it is that you can't go up a dirt hill without going a dangerous speed, just to keep it from bogging down.

Engine bogs and will not go beyond a certain RPM. This is commonly caused by a deteriorated intake inlet manifold. This inlet manifold can be found connecting the carburettor to the intake side of the engine. This little elbow-shaped inlet can form dry-rotting cracks, thus becoming a major vacuum leak. Hi, car drives perfectly fine but when parked or coming to a stop at low idle Supra start's bogging out and sometimes even turns off. I’ve tried different MAF sensor, different ECU, replaced the MAP sensor, new Idle control valve, new fuel pump, new spark plugs, pigtails, etc.. If you attempt to accelerate too hard off idle, to the point where the secondaries kick in, the car bogs and stumbles to the point where it dies unless you lift your foot off the pedal. Quarter or part throttle acceleration is fine and acceleration once the engine is up to 3000 rpm’s and over is fine; no stumbles.
